Commercial Energy Efficiency Program

Georgia Power’s commercial rebate program makes incorporating energy-efficient improvements into your business easy and affordable. Whether you’re replacing outdated, inefficient equipment or installing high-efficiency equipment during new construction, Georgia Power offers a variety of rebates to help you reduce the initial cost, resulting in lower energy consumption and savings.

Eligible Participants

Rebates are available to Georgia Power customers on a commercial revenue code. Residential and Industrial customers are not eligible. The maximum rebate for combination of measures is $25,000 per building per year.

Eligible Equipment

Eligible equipment and rebate amounts for existing buildings are broken down into exterior and interior lamp and fixtures. These measures are subject to the associated technical eligibility criteria. All equipment must be new.

Preapproval Requirements

All projects require preapproval from prior to purchasing and installing any equipment. After the application has been preapproved, the applicant will be notified in writing, assigned a project identification number, and given specific instructions. The applicant may then purchse and install the pre-approved equipment.
